What is a Mom’s Group?
Our group for moms is meant to provide a support network for moms who spend most of their lives selflessly serving their families. A MOPS meeting includes practical teaching through guest speakers from our community, demonstrations and videos. Plus, there's usually food... food you didn't make! But more importantly, you'll get to have honest conversations with other moms who understand the joys and frustrations of motherhood.
When does the group meet?
The group meets on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of every month from 9-11am (moms are welcomed to socialize after the meeting with each other if they choose). The semester starts on September 19th and ends on December 19th. There are two semesters (Fall/Winter & Spring) every school year.
Who can come?
We know we mother better together, so all moms are welcome. From the time you get pregnant, to when your children are kindergarten, our doors are open.
Is this a Church or religious group?
Our mops group uses a church building to come together for our meetings, however, this group is not faith-based. All mothers of pre-schoolers are welcome regardless of their beliefs. Our time together will include a specific topic for self enrichment for moms but this conversation is not meant to have a religious focus.
Is there Childcare provided for this group?
We provide child care for all moms who attend this group. All workers have a background check and references on file to ensure a safe environment for all children. The program is a fun experience your kiddos will love.
What is the Cost?
The cost for each semester is $40, which offsets the cost of child care, printed materials, and a personal online membership to all mops resources for every attendee.
